Open the game with Notepad, then click on the folder MyDocumentsandSettings\\\\YourUsername\\\\AppData\\\\Local\\\\Savj_Games\\\\TheDx4.exe in the game directory (note the space after “-“), and copy and paste the Gamedata.cfg and gamedata.sak files from inside into the game directory.
When running this program, I found that all the original game files have been deleted, but the modifier still exists, so I can only open the game with Notepad.
