What does the Grayscale LTC premium indicate? Grayscale recently launched an LTC token with a premium of up to 15%. Currently, there are over 500 digital assets (including BTC, ETH, and LTC), but among these investment products, besides Bitcoin, there are also some other cryptocurrencies that show different degrees of premium. According to statistics on Github, as of March 12th, Grayscale has issued approximately 80,000 trust funds (most of which are Ethereum), over 300 LTC tokens, over 400 exchange-traded notes, and over 100 listed company stocks. Grayscale Premium Arbitrage
According to reports, Grayscale released an official statement stating that it is engaged in arbitrage to hedge the premium rates of spot and cryptocurrency assets due to market fluctuations. As Bitcoin prices have recently plummeted, investors have started using leverage strategies to cash out Bitcoin, which will allow arbitrageurs to profit when the market is falling.
According to previous reports, GBTC purchased a large amount of cryptocurrency at a discount of 200% to 300% in early August, and the fund is now open to qualified institutional investors.
